Sweet Mini Birthday Cupcakes
Last saturday was my girl’s 5 year old birthday. I decided to go for something new this round after seeing some promotional postcards from www.sweetestmoments.com.sg.
They offer novelty cute cupcakes for birthdays, events and weddings. My girl chose the theme colour (Purple), and select 2 topping designs for the surrounding cupcakes. The topping are not made of sugar but chocolates. You can choose between the 3.5cm mini cupcake or its larger counterpart at 5.5cm diameter. There’s a $15 delivery charge which is not mentioned if you take up the delivery option.
I took 54pcs of 3.5cm ones, they told me quantity of 54 fits nicely in one box. Here is a picture of the cupcakes when it arrived.
I took this to my girl’s school last friday as I had wanted her to celebrate with her friends. One thing to note, if you are buying the traditional cakes, do bring along paper plates and cutlery as the school should not be made to supply all these right?
My girl told me her friends liked the cupcakes as they are cute and beautiful. It also tastes quite nice.
But I do not think I will buy such novelty stuff again. My girl blurted out on Saturday after I gave her the birthday present, “but mum, there’s no candles to blow….” (I did not buy another cake on saturday as my girl’s teacher was kind enough to leave the “happy birthday” wordings back to us.)
Guess I’ll stick to the traditional birthday cake afterall. ^^
